Wczoraj była Wenezuelka, dzisiaj kolej na „sąsiadkę” – kolumbijską aktorkę Angie Cepeda (Angélica María Cepeda Jiménez). Ta urodzona w 1974 roku kruczowłosa piękność swą ekranową karierę rozpoczęła od reklamy piwa Águila. W Kolumbii spodobała się ona tak bardzo, że niemal natychmiast 17-letnia wówczas Cepeda zasypana została lawiną propozycji udziału w lokalnych telenowelach. Kolumbijka marzyła jednak o wielkim ekranie. I szybko nań trafiła – jej główna żeńska rola w argentyńskim filmie „Samy y yo” uhonorowana nawet została całą serią nagród na międzynarodowych festiwalach. Nic więc dziwnego, że spróbowała też swego szczęścia w Holywood. Opłaciło się. W ubiegłym roku zagrała główną rolę w amerykańskim filmie „Love for Rent”. W chwili obecnej mieszka i intensywnie pracuje w Madrycie.

Esta chica de 32 años empezó su carrera à la edad de 17 años con un anuncio publicitario para la Cerveza Águila. Tuvo tanta popularidad que casi instantemente la ofrecieron unas rolas en las telenovelas locales. Lógicamente después vino el cine. Por su actuación en la película argentina “Samy y yo” ha conseguido el premio a la mejor actriz en varios festivales internacionales. Por su papel en “Pantaleón y las Visitadoras” también. Año pasado era el turno de Holywood – Angie Cepeda bordo el papel principal en “Amor en alquiler”. Recién, después de vivir y estudiar cuatro años la actuación en Los Ángeles, Angie ha finalizado sus estudios y se ha mudado a España. Vive y trabaja en Madrid.

After a Venezuelan girl, the Colombian one. Angie Cepeda (Angélica María Cepeda Jiménez) was born in 1974. She started her career by making a commercial movie for Águila beer. She became so popular that shortly after she was offered roles in soap operas and later in movies. She gained international recognition and festival prizes with “Captain Pantoja and the Special Services” and “Samy and Me”. In 2001 she decided to move to California. There she continued to take acting courses and obtained the main role in “Love for Rent”. Recently she moved to Madrid, where she is living and working now.
